What If I Don’t Remember All the Details? #

That’s completely okay. You’re not writing a court transcript, you’re telling a story that left a mark on your life.

It’s normal for memories to blur over time. You might remember the feeling more clearly than the facts. That’s not a flaw, it’s part of what makes your story human.

Just focus on what you do remember:

  • What happened?

  • What stayed with you?

  • How did it change you?

If you’re unsure about a date or a name, you can say “around that time” or “someone I worked with.” It’s the emotional truth that matters most.

The goal isn’t perfection, it’s connection. Your voice has value, even if the edges are soft.
